Principal Investigator
Doory kim (김두리)
Doory Kim is an associate professor of Department of Chemistry at Hanyang University.
Doory received a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Seoul National University in Korea in 2006. She completed her master's degree in 2008 from Seoul National University under the supervision of Prof. Seong Keun Kim, where she investigated electronically excited states of biomolecules and their complexes using resonant two-photonionization, UV-UV hole-burning techniques and theoretical calculation. She earned her PhD at Harvard University in 2015 with Prof. Xiaowei Zhuang, where she developed correlative super-resolution light microscopy and electron microscopy and applied super-resolution microscopy to investigate the distributions and interactions of purinosomes in the cell. Doory performed her postdoctoral work with Prof. Ke Xu at UC Berkeley, where she worked on spectrally resolved, functional super-resolution microscopy and studied the multi-path reaction pathways of single molecules. Doory joined the Department of Chemistry at Hanyang University in the spring of 2018.
